Thursday, February 24th, 2011Greg Phillips joined the TeamSupport.com development team this month. As our newest Web Developer, Greg comes to us with over 10 years of programming experience. Prior to TeamSupport, Greg served as a Developer with Four Eleven Solutions and NASA. In addition, he has several years experience doing freelance work. Greg resides in the Houston area where he earned both a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science at Texas Southern University.
Small Business, Big Party at SXSW 2010

Happy 234th Marines!
Tuesday, November 10th, 2009Today the Marine Corps turns 234 years old. Having spent four years of my life on active duty with this group, I wanted to wish my brothers and sisters a Happy Birthday!
The Marine Corps was created on November 10, 1775, in Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by a resolution of the Continental Congress. In 1834 the marines became part of the Department of the Navy and have been putting it on the line ever since.
If you know a Marine – take a moment to say thanks and happy birthday!

Customer Service Week

What is National Customer Service Week? It is a week designed to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays within an organization. It is also an opportunity to say a big thank you to those who work in customer service for a job well done.
Why a whole week and not just one day? Because customer service impacts everyone. For those who provide it, it can be a rewarding experience when you can put a smile on someone’s face or an opportunity to offer that positive spark in what might be a tough day for someone else.
This is a great week to spend special time with service teams, evaluate how well your service operation is doing and also reinforce company values. It is also a good time to review the tools your company is using and determine if your service team has the proper tools for their job. Take time to ask them questions and listen to what they have to say.
Some companies bring in motivational speakers, organize team outings or office parties to offset the training and instruction that you may be doing. What ever you do, make sure to include some fun this week and give those who operate at the tip of the spear a pat on the back – and tell them how much you appreciate them. After all, they are taking on the good and the bad in real time every single day.

Saturday, July 4th, 2009233 years ago, 56 brave and selfless men assembled to sign our nations Declaration of Independence. ”Their courage created a nation built on a universal claim to human dignity on the proposition that every man, woman and child had a right to a future of freedom.” – Ronald Reagan, July 4, 1986
As stated on our great declaration, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
The price of freedom is not cheap and has been paid for by many lives, even long before July 4, 1776. In fact, the price of freedom is still being paid for this very day.
While you enjoy the picnics, family and fireworks, take just a moment to pay respect to ALL men and women who have paid the price for freedom around the world.
